Moon Circle is a mythological figure who is typically depicted as a creature that possesses traits from all Mythical Creatures. She is revered and regarded in many different ways all around the world.

Common beliefs / depictions


  • Moon Circle uses either she/her, she/they, or they/them pronouns.
  • She is typically associated with the moon. Her body is often depicted creating a circle to represent her connection to the celestial body.
  • Some believe Moon Circle was a real individual and/or Mythical who existed long in the past, others think of her as someone who did exist, but that her depictions may be more metaphorical in nature. Some believe her to be a goddess and worship her as such. Some don’t believe that she ever existed at all.
  • When viewed as a goddess, some think of Moon Circle as friendly or benevolent, others view her more as a supreme queen of the Mythicals, and that she should be regarded as a harbinger of death.
  • Moon Circle is not always depicted with Seamonster and/or fish/bug-like traits, but it is common.
  • Moon Circle is often considered to possess all kinds of magic, however some believe she is completely devoid of the ability to use any magic.
  • The image of Moon Circle is commonly used in symbolism. Her image is often used to suggest ideas of unity or wholeness.

  • Moon Circle is widely known throughout the world. Her concept is common knowledge amongst Earthlings. Some Mythicals are aware of her, but they typically don’t seem to have strong opinions on her.
  • Despite the vast array of beliefs Earthlings have about Moon Circle, it is typically common courtesy to respect what others believe about her.
  • The origin of Moon Circle is unknown, however it is known that her likeness has been depicted and/or known about for at least 500 years.
